Thanks for visiting our website. Whether you're already part of our school community or visiting us for the first time, we're so glad you're here.

We know choosing a school is so much more than curriculum, classrooms and test results. You are choosing the place where your child will spend seven of their most important years learning, growing and discovering who they are. That's a pretty big decision.

At Wagga Wagga Public School, children learn to take responsibility, include others and bounce back when things get tough. Behaviour is taught like any other subject, not left to chance. We embed empathy, courage, persistence and good manners into everyday learning , because we know that good character matters as much as achievement.

Of course, we are equally passionate about learning.

Every classroom focuses on high expectations, evidence-based teaching, and meaningful progress. Our students learn to challenge themselves, celebrate effort, and put their learning into action.

As the first primary school in Wagga Wagga, we have a long and proud history, but we don't spend much time looking backwards. We're laser focused on meeting the needs of today's students and in ensuring they feel a strong sense of belonging here. Classrooms are calm and purposeful, teachers are consistent and caring, and families are welcomed as genuine partners in helping their children grow.
