Keeping our school environment clean and well maintained
The Wagga Wagga Public School site is located on Gurwood Street, one of the most picturesque streets in Wagga. We are lucky to be surrounded by heritage buildings and beautiful trees, which are particularly spectacular in autumn. Both staff and students work hard to ensure that our facilities are well cared for and maintained.
How do our students contribute?
Our students work hard to limit the amount of rubbish in our playgrounds. They start by responsibly using the many bins available throughout the school. We also have designated Nude Food Days to reduce packaging, and a team of “Rubbish Warriors” who collect any stray rubbish that may accidentally find its way into the playground.
Our staff
We are fortunate to have two hardworking General Assistants who ensure our school is well maintained and always looking its best. Our dedicated cleaning team cleans our classrooms before and after school, making sure our learning spaces are clean and tidy. Additionally, our whole staff works together to organise resources, keep our gardens neat, and maintain clutter-free classrooms. Together, their efforts ensure our school is a welcoming and well-kept environment.
